Nobody hit Wednesday's Powerball jackpot, meaning the prize has grown to what could be the fifth-largest jackpot in Powerball game history and the ninth-largest jackpot in U.S. Lottery history. The jackpot stands at an estimated $640 million, or $478.7 million cash value.
This is the highest the Powerball jackpot has been since March 2019.
You can still check your numbers. The winning Powerball numbers drawn Wednesday night, Jan. 13, were: 4, 19, 23, 25, 49 and the Powerball is 14. The Power Play is 2x. The jackpot was at $550 million.
Powerball officials said 10 tickets matched all five white balls to win $1 million. In Wednesday's drawing, more than 3.3 million tickets won prizes ranging from $4 to $2 million, officials said.
The next Powerball drawing will be at 10:59 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 16.
The second-largest jackpot in Mega Millions history is up for grabs on Friday after nobody won Tuesday's jackpot. The next Mega Millions drawing, for an estimated $750 million, or $550.6 million cash is at 11 p.m. Friday, Jan. 15.
Mega Millions officials said the winner could earn the honor of being the third-largest lotto prize winner in American history, competing with two previous Powerball winners who hit at $768.4 and $758.7 million.

When are the drawings?
Mega Millions drawings are held Tuesday and Friday at 11 p.m.
What are the chances you'll win?
The odds of winning the jackpot are 1 in 302,575,350 and the odds of taking home $1 million by getting a match 5 are 1 in 12,607,306. The overall chance of winning any prize is 1 in 24.
How much does it cost?
Mega Millions tickets cost $2 per play.
Megaplier cost an extra $1 but the payoff could be huge. Megaplier lets players increase non-jackpot prize winnings by 2, 3, 4 or 5 times.
So if you win the $1 million second-tier prize in Mega Millions, and the Megaplier number drawn is 5, your prize would be $5 million.

How do you pick numbers and which ones do you pick?
Players may pick six numbers from two separate pools of numbers. There are five different numbers from 1 to 70 and one number from 1 to 25. Players can also select Easy Pick or Quick Pick and have the numbers auto drawn.

What do get when you win?
If you hit the big one, there are two options, annuity or cash.
With the annuity option, the prize is paid out as one immediate payment followed by 29 annual payments. According to Mega Millions, each payment is 5 percent bigger than the previous one.

The cash option is a one-time, lump-sum payment that is equal to all the cash in the Mega Millions jackpot prize pool.

Powerball drawings are held Wednesday and Saturday at 11 p.m.
What are the chances that you'll win?
There is a 1 in 24.9 chance of winning a prize when the advertised jackpot is $40 million and it stays the same the larger the pot gets.
How much does it cost?
Powerball costs $2 per play.
In Kentucky, $1 gets you a power play, which will multiply your Powerball winnings, as long as it isn't the jackpot. So if you win $100 and the power play is 3, you win $300.

What do you get when you win?
A Powerball jackpot winner may choose to receive their prize in 30 payments over 29 years or a lump-sum payment.
If the annuity option is selected, the winner is guaranteed to receive 30 graduated payments over 29 years. The annual payments increase by 5 percent until the 30th and final payment.
The 30 payments added up equal the value of the annuity.
Federal and jurisdictional income taxes apply to both jackpot prize options.
